Even though the session is over, your Nebraska senators are still at work on interim studies. The League of Women Voters of Nebraska is following several studies including:
LR 129 – Judiciary Committee study to review staffing at the Department of Correctional Services;
LR 131 – Urban Affairs Committee study to examine the lack of affordable housing in Nebraska;
LR 156 – Judiciary Committee study to examine mental health and addiction issues within the Nebraska criminal justice system; and
LR 193 – Transportation & Telecommunications Committee study to examine broadband mapping and broadband speed testing in Nebraska.
