Nebraska’s new online voter registration platform combines Nebraska’s votercheck website and online voter registration form to allow citizens to register, update their registration information, change their party affiliation, check the status of their early voting or provisional ballot, and find their polling place all in one convenient place.

In addition to creating a voter registration one-stop-shop, the new system is expected to reduce administrative burden for county election officials by streamlining the registration process and reducing duplicate registration application forms.

The last day to register online to vote in the 2026 general election is Oct. 16. Remember that 17-year-olds who will turn 18 on or before Nov. 3, 2026, and who are otherwise eligible, can register now to vote in the 2026 general election.
