In 2020, the LWVNE and these community partners were part of an effort to place an initiative on the Nov. 3 ballot for an independent redistricting commission. The group, Nebraskans for Independent Redistricting, was not able to collect enough signatures due to the coronavirus pandemic and the initiative was suspended.
Community Partners
The League works with many community partners on a variety of issues and actions. Some partners offer updates during the Legislative session that are timely and helpful as things change rapidly at the state Capitol.
