Before each legislative session, members of the LWVNE state board of directors review bills to identify areas of interest to League members and legislation that would impact its program positions. The LWV does not take a position on an issue without careful study. Studies take place on the local, state and national levels.
This report recaps the outcome of bills that were considered a priority or of interest by the LWVNE during the recent 107th Legislature, second session.
