LWVNE Joins Strong Nebraska Requesting Online Unicameral Testimony
The Coalition for a Strong Nebraska – which includes more than 100 statewide nonprofit advocacy and service provider organizations (including the LWVNE) – is calling for the Legislature to adopt updated committee processes to ensure safety and accessibility to public hearings.
The coalition’s letter proposes that the clerk of the Legislature and the Executive Board consider adopting a policy to allow the submission of testimony online.
