Sheri St. Clair, LWVNE Government Director, testified at a hearing of the Nebraska Legislature’s Government, Military and Veterans Affairs Committee in opposition to a proposed constitutional amendment requiring voter id, LR 3CA.
Adoption of LR 3CA would serve to further the myth of voter fraud. Significantly impacted by voter id are voters of color, differently-abled voters, elderly voters, rural voters and young adults.
